Situated plum in the middle of the Yattendon estate, the Royal Oak is the perfect pub with rooms for shooting parties.
There are 10 beautiful bedrooms, with gun cabinets in all rooms, huge bathrooms with plenty of hot water for a long soak... and even a snug space by the warm radiator for your dogs who are always most welcome.
With a choice of three private dining rooms for up to 40 guests, either eat from the Á la carte menu or try the sumptuous Feasting menu, created specifically for shooting parties – whole roast suckling pigs or four bone ribs of beef brought theatrically to the table on huge platters with jugs of gravy, piles of crispy roast potatoes and mountains of veg.
Top end grand crus, armagnacs and ports complement the food, and special wines can be sourced from our amazing suppliers Berry Bros of St James, Louis Latour and Berkmanns. Corkage is also available by arrangement.
